As the setting is in deserts, everyone knows that the biggest resource is money. Money is produced by your houses and tall buildings. Other important resources over which war takes place are oil and ammunition. Gold is also something over which nations go to war with each other. The ammunition is used up by the soldiers whenever they engage in war. Oil that is found in the desert is converted into Diesel and kerosene, both of which are used by soldiers in the planes and the tanks. You earn points by killing your enemies and consume them by making purchases of weapons and oil, both of which are required at every level of the battle.
You can upgrade the weapons in Desert operations as your resources go up and this gives you edge over your enemies as you can wipe out soldiers quickly. In this game you can forge alliances and thus increase your power to annihilate the enemy. Whenever you are short of ammunition, diplomacy can be used to great effect to make new alliances which is very useful when you are faced with a powerful enemy who has greater resources.
The buildings that are shown in the game have many extensions. There are Barracks and in these Barracks there are sub parts such as Tank exercise and. Similarly there is unique Firing range that you will need to build for your tanks as well as foot soldiers. There are slots and every new building has to be built in the slot specified for it. Fighting is a little complex, but as you keep on playing, you learn quickly. The Desert Operations game has achieved tremendous popularity among those who love military strategies and warfare.
